Body Basics

Here's the basics on your body!

1 - Everyone's body comes in a different shape, and a different size! This is what makes us so unique. How would you like it if we all looked the same? Maybe the guys/girls you think are attractive wouldn't exist! So be happy with who you are and what you've been given!

2 - Boobs! Yep, all of us girls have got em! some of us think they're too big, some thing they're too small, and for some of us, they're just non-existant! Yes, there are things you can do to change the appearance of them. Push-up bras, and plastic sergery are booming these days, because society has become so specific about what they wanna see! Hey we're not all the same, accept it. Some girls have one boob that's bigger than the other. And if you're one of those girls, don't worry you're not alone. I know a few of those girls myself!

3 - Shapes and sizes! Okay i touched on this issue earlier, but let's take a look at what society has tried to shove down our troats so far. In the 20s, society wanted women to look like men. Long, skinny bodies, with no curves what so ever. In the 30s, Rosie the Riviter took over, and women wanted to be big and strong to prove they were as good as any man. The 40s and 50s welcomed curves! Marilyn Monroe was a sex goddess and everyone wanted to be like her. That woman had hips, she had curves where every healthy woman should. Did you know she wore a size 14? By the 70s, long and lean was the name of the game. Everyone wanted to look like Charlie's Angels. the 90s brought in a time of perfection. Every woman was expected to be slim everywhere, except for her boobs and her butt. A nice firm bottom, and a D sized chest, matched with a tiny waist, was considered ideal. Unfortunately we're still stuck in the rut of the 90s. But don't go overboard trying to look like the ideal, you never know when the magazines and society will change their mind.

4 - Hair! Once you start puberty your hair changes, it grows in places it never grew before. And let's be honest, most people don't like to discuss it. Personally I don't really enjoy discussing it too much either haha. Just know a few things and you should be fine: razors are sharp, so be careful, everyone goes through it so NO you are NOT different, it might be weird, or scary but it means you're growing up, ACCEPT IT!
